Kris Grant Architect Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries DCL&G

Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries opposite Dunfermline Abbey

With a strong track record in successfully delivering intricate, award winning buildings I am known for a positive attitude, high standards and going the extra mile to get a job done well.

My relaxed manner and approachable style come from twenty five years of experience. I spent nine of those designing broadcasting buildings for the BBC and a further decade as an Associate in the high profile office of Richard Murphy Architects in Edinburgh. My work there culminated in the Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries, (pictured) winning the prestigious Doolan Prize for the best new building in Scotland.

Establishing my own practice in 2017 has allowed me to focus on residential architecture. I believe in the power of good design to improve our lives and I enjoy working with clients to uncover the unique element that will make their project exceptional.

I would like to work with you to unlock the potential of your project, whether that be a new house or adapting your existing home to suit your lifestyle. I bring with me a keen interest in combining the contemporary with the traditional.

Kris quickly found a solution that we would never have thought of. A fantastically original, clever and practical use of space. A great addition to our home.
