Millhouse Restoration

Juniper Green, Edinburgh

The romantic restoration of a 250 year old millhouse incorporating roaring fires, flagstoned floors, panelled walls and ceilings as well as a nineteenth century inspired box bed. Twenty first century touches include an open plan living, dining and bespoke kitchen area along with luxury bathrooms and underfloor heating.

Georgian style sash and case windows have been reinstated and upgraded to double glazing. The design pays careful attention to the interior details including a recurring branch motif found in a suspended light fitting and a feature door handle.

Kris helped with all the details, big and small. We are delighted with the final results, which are, in our opinion, outstanding.
